Riot published the Wild Rift 7.3c patch notes on October 21, 2026 (09:00 UTC). This patch only changes AAA ARAM: four new augments, ten augment adjustments and mode-specific damage changes for Jarvan IV, Taliyah, Ryze, Kayn and Vladimir. Nothing changes on Summoner's Rift, so ranked builds, counters and tier lists stay as they were in 7.3b. No new champions. The notes give no rollout date or time; Riot only says that "content will be released throughout the patch". Check the version in your client.
Quick summary
| Area | What changes in 7.3c |
|---|---|
| New AAA ARAM augments | Chromacrash, Quick Reflexes, Back to Basics, Origin: Grasp of the Undying |
| Augment adjustments | 10 entries (Dual Harmony and Disappearing Act share one) |
| Champions in AAA ARAM | Jarvan IV, Taliyah, Ryze, Kayn, Vladimir |
| Summoner's Rift / ranked | No changes: champions, items, runes and jungle stay on 7.3b |
1. New augments
- Chromacrash
- Quick Reflexes
- Back to Basics
- Origin: Grasp of the Undying
Next to Chromacrash, Riot adds that "Arcade Pros" and its related Easter eggs will also become available after the update. Riot describes some of the additions as "familiar favorites", but the notes do not explain what any of the four augments does, so we will not guess. Check the in-game description once they appear in your client.
2. Augment adjustments
| Augment | Before | 7.3c |
|---|---|---|
| Metal Crown | Not stated in the notes | 20s cooldown |
| Darkin Beacon | 0.2s cooldown | 0s cooldown |
| Hextech Shrapnel | Bonus damage after conversion 30% | 50% |
| Battle Arsenal | Bonus item damage proc chance 40% | 60% |
| Duet | Bonus true damage after exiting stealth: 30–90 + 30% bonus AD + 10% AP | 60–150 + 50% bonus AD + 20% AP |
| Pinnacle of Excellence | Critical Strike Damage cap 400% | 444% |
| On the Sly | Bonus damage window after exiting stealth 0.1s; uses post-mitigation damage | 0.5s; uses pre-mitigation damage |
| Blade and Shadow | 30–90 + 10% Attack Damage + 25% AP | 30–120 + 20% Attack Damage + 40% AP |
| Slow Debilitation | Armor and Magic Resistance per 10 bonus Movement Speed: 1.5 | 2 |
| Dual Harmony, Disappearing Act | — | Can now trigger movement-related augments, such as Duststorm |
Riot says it is giving underperforming augments "a little extra love" and toning down a few overachievers, but it does not label each line. Metal Crown "now has a 20s cooldown"; the notes do not give a previous value, so we do not call it a buff or a nerf.
3. Champions in AAA ARAM
In AAA ARAM, Riot tunes some champions with percentages for the damage they deal and the damage they take. These values sit under the AAA ARAM section of the notes, so they apply only to that mode.
| Champion | Damage dealt | Damage taken |
|---|---|---|
| 105% → 100% | 95% → 100% | |
| 100% → 110% | No change | |
| No change | 100% → 90% | |
| 95% → 105% | No change | |
| 90% → 100% | 110% → 105% |
Our read (editorial analysis of the numbers, not match statistics): Jarvan IV is the only champion who loses, on both lines. The other four improve: Taliyah and Kayn deal more damage, Ryze takes less, and Vladimir gets both.
4. What about ranked?
Nothing to relearn. 7.3c does not touch Summoner's Rift, so the 7.3b meta stays in place:
- Wild Rift tier list (patch 7.3b, still current), with role views such as the jungle tier list and the mid lane tier list.
- Counters and champion builds are unchanged. The Jarvan IV and Vladimir pages cover Summoner's Rift, not ARAM.
- For every Rift change still in effect, read our full 7.3b changes.
Wondering when the next patch lands? Riot's schedule only lists major versions and says smaller balance patches "follow a more fluid schedule". Our next patch date page tracks the official dates and what Riot has confirmed.
Verdict
7.3c is an AAA ARAM patch: your ranked build and tier list are still the 7.3b ones. If you play ARAM, try the new augments once they reach your client, and expect Jarvan IV to hit a little softer and take a little more damage.
